Poudre Forte means “strong powder” in French, and this spice blend, deserving of its name, was prepared by taking inspiration from the spicy and bold character of medieval European cuisine.
It is created by carefully balancing four aromatically strong spices: clove, kebabiye (small cardamom), darülfülfül (long pepper) and nutmeg.This blend can be used in both sweet and savoury recipes to create an extraordinary and layered flavour.
